Documentation

The ResponseMaster Installation Guide contains instructions for installing ResponseMaster on your system.

The ResponseMaster Configuration Guide describes how to set up ResponseMaster for your environment.

Known Problems and Limitations

  • Some older versions of the 64 bit ResponseMaster installers on Windows defaulted to the 32 bit “Program Files (x86)” directory. If you took that default, you will need to adjust the installation path of the more recent Upgrade installers to install to the same place.
  • A change in Oracle’s JVM version 1.6.0_u28 caused the Microsoft JDBC driver for SQL Server to stop working. It is fixed in the latest version (u31) and also in 1.7. If you can’t upgrade, you can add this Java option to workaround the problem:

-Djsse.enableCBCProtection=false

Please see Java issue #7105007 for more information.

The categorization rules have varying levels of coverage for different languages. English is strongest, followed by French, German, and Spanish which are also pretty strong. There is also decent coverage for Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish, and Portuguese, and some coverage for Danish, Japanese, Korean, and Polish. If you are interested in discussing support of these (or any other) languages, please contact us at info@extreme-messaging.com.
